If you are stressed right now, try the following:
1. Find a private spot, even a bathroom stall
2. Intend that your mind be quiet for a minute.
3. Close your mouth and breathe in through your nose slowly.
When each in-breath is complete, allow a gradual exhale.
Repeat 3-7 times. Be easy and flexible about the process.
4. Allow your mind to clear and your body to relax.
Keeping stress inside may be detrimental to your health, your wealth, and your ability to function in business and society.
Stress by itself is not a bad thing. It is simply an energy buildup that occurs when we have multiple thoughts about issues that cause feelings which are challenging to our peace of mind.
The pivotal point is the way that we choose to respond to the challenge. Channeling stress into positive things is productive. Ignoring stress can be destructive.
We can recoil in fear or be motivated to attain higher levels of achievement than we ever thought possible.
The vulnerability is when we ignore or suppress the feelings that need attention. Addictions can be caused by ignoring our feelings and looking for something outside ourselves to take the pain away.
Even things that are considered positive addictions like exercise need to be thought of in a balanced perspective.
When our lives are in balance physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, we can create a very productive life for ourselves and those we love.
When you let go of fear, anger, heartache, betrayal , resentment, guilt, distrust, stress, shame and your should-dos, your life has the potential to be peachy.
